As a consultant for orthopaedic and trauma surgery I am focusing on the treatment of foot disorders. In my private practice I treat simple and complex foot deformities, injuries of the ankle and tendons as well as instabilities and arthritis. A close collaboration with an orthopaedic shoemaker enables a high-quality patient-specific supply with insoles and orthopaedic shoes. Especially for patients suffering from diabetes I am supported by a wound care manager to ensure an optimal treatment of the diabetic foot syndrome.
A second focus of my clinical work is the conservative and operative treatment of knee and hip disorders (e.g. chondral repair therapy, meniscus surgery) as well as knee and hip arthroplasty. During surgery I frequently use minimal-invasive techniques (AMIS Hip) and computer assisted procedures (computer navigated knee arthroplasty).
All treatments are individually tailored to the patient’s needs and performed according to the latest scientific standards. As your treating physician it is very important for me that you feel comfortable with the therapy – after having an exact diagnosis we plan the further treatment together.
